Pedagogical walks

Are you missing the time to educate your dog while also offering them the physical and mental activities they need?

Our pedagogical walk are the perfect solution for busy dog parents who want to ensure their furry friends receive the physical and mental activities they deserve.

Each one-on-one session lasts around one hour, designed to allow your dog to walk, explore, sniff, and enjoy their surroundings at their own rhythm. During these walks, we incorporate small trainings tailored to your dog's age, capabilities, and specific needs. Imagine your dog mastering skills like loose leash walking and recall, while also improving their communication with other dogs— all through engaging activities that foster confidence and independence.

Our approach is based on a force-free, stress-free method utilizing command-free or positive reinforcement techniques.

Joining the pedagogical walks yourself from time to time is highly recommended. Consistency is key to any training and improvement, and having you participate ensures that you’re following the same methods, maximizing your dog’s progress.

It’s important to note that these walks are not designed to address issues such as separation anxiety, fear, reactivity, or stress. For those concerns, we recommend booking a separate training session to effectively tackle those challenges.

How does it work?

  1. Before any pedagogical walks, there is an introductive session during which we will discuss more about your needs and your dog needs and particularities. I will present my methods, and what I can practice in pedagogical walks and how I will be doing it. From there, we will agree on regularities on the walks, the pick-up and drop-off place and time.

  2. The pedagogicals walks are one hour long and consist of learnings while walking. You are free to attend if you would like. It is even recommend that you join from time to time to ensure that you follow the same methods as consistency is crucial for effective learnings. At the end of each walk, you will receive a summary of the walk and some tips.
